Welcome to C.U.CO Track Club We are the Jacksonville beaches only youth track and field program. Located in Atlantic Beach, Florida our team name C.U.C.O (Chin-Up Chest-Out) represents everything that our team stands for. Our goal is to teach youth athletes discipline, determination and dedication through a competitive track and field program in a team building environment.
We compete in the AAU (Amateur Athletic Association) & USATF divisions during our regular spring season which runs from Feb-June and then our post season which includes state qualifier, regional qualifier and the national championship AAU Junior Olympic Games. CuCo Track Club is a 4th year program, with years of coaching experience in youth sports.
We are geared towards building an attractive program that develops mental toughness for all of our kids.
Winter conditioning begins in October 17th and our spring season practice is held at Mayport middle school Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30 starting in February- May. Athletes should wear comfortable running shoes, athletic clothes and be hydrated. At the coaches discretion extra practices may be held at alternative locations for specialized training like at the beach for soft sand strength training. and at a track for timed training. In the event of dangerous weather coach O or team mom will contact parents via team app, text, call, email and social media.
Our training is geared towards athletes fighting off the lactic acid burn with natural exercise. We believe in plyo-metrics training, body-weight training and speed endurance. Our coaches vision is to provide youth athletes with the proper running, jumping and throwing mechanics to excel in track and field.
